Mar. 16, 2020 - In this episode the girl’s start by discussing all of the shutdowns that happened on the day of recording and the panic that has ensued across America. They give their wildly different takes on the stress and anxiety of it all; Sarah very much overly preparing and Lauren sort of taking it in stride.
They share details of the press conference that occurred that day (3/13/2020) and their thoughts on President Trump declaring a national state of emergency. Sarah explains what this means and why we can all now rest assured that there is a plan of action in place. The girls then lighten it up a bit by sharing their new binge addiction on Netflix - “Love is Blind” and why they're so drawn to it.
The talk then moves to ideas of how we can keep our families occupied while we all self quarantine. The idea of joy schools, play group swaps and specific activities that work well for us are shared. The girls then wrap up this episode with their hits and misses which includes Sarah opening up about some work/life balance issues and the mom guilt that she’s currently feeling.
