Jun. 5, 2020 - In this episode you hear us respond the George Floyd protests that emerged across America this past week and all of our thoughts & feels on what’s happening. We know this is DEEPLY personal issue and that so many emotions/feelings/sympathies are running high right now. So, regardless of where you are personally on this issue, we hope you listen with a kind & gentle ear.
We heavily debated whether or not to even speak about the subject because we didn’t want to isolate or offend any of YOU - the friends & fellow mamas that we’ve gained through our show over the past year. We battled feelings of not feeling educated enough or confident enough to speak on things that we don’t 100% know how to navigate ourselves right now. But we came to the conclusion that many of you may be feeling the exact same way we are. You may be sad, inspired, overwhelmed, confused, encouraged, heartbroken, and on and on…...
For that reason, we met up late Wednesday night, 6/3/20 and hit the record button. It’s not perfectly said and doesn’t have a clear solution, but hopefully you hear that it has heart.
