Show Notes

In this ICYMI episode of The Mom Voice, Lauren starts the show by sharing the story of bringing home their new puppy, Gus. As a first time dog owner, she shares all of the firsts that she’s learning and gives her honest review on the new adventure! She shares how she revealed the puppy to her children and some other fun things! The girls then dive into the episode’s topic – letting go of “mom guilt”! It’s a struggle that every mother faces at one time or another. Whether it’s the working mother, parenting mistakes or comparing your mothering to others – mom guilt can be brought on by a number of factors! The girls open up and share honest examples of when they struggle the most. They then offer some inspirational tips and perspectives that may help a mother struggling with this! As the new year begins, it’s a gentle reminder to let go of the past and try to start out the new year with goals and mindful parenting. They then wrap up with the week’s hits and misses.
