Roxanne is the author of the book "Cutting Ties: Healing from Betrayal Trauma as the Spouse of an Addict" and host of the podcast Choose In. She opens up about many aspects of her experience including how she discovered her husband's addiction to when she knew it was time to separate. Roxanne shares the 20+ year battle that they went on which includes therapy, rehab and the 12 step program. She also talks about Betrayal Trauma, explaining what it is and how it can effect a person. She then discusses how it effected her 4 children and what it means for the addict to 'choose in' to recovery.
