Aug. 3, 2020 – In this episode the girls have fun highlighting 20 things they want to teach their daughters! Both hosts only have one daughter who holds a special place in their hearts. Their girls are also the same age and best friends too which wasn’t planned but couldn’t have worked out better!
Sarah and Lauren give some fun, yet practical advice to their daughters; for example, always wear sunscreen! Your 30-something self will thank you! Or always know that you can accomplish anything – and that if you put your mind and heart into it, anything is possible. They discuss the importance of going to college, why you need to have fun and what kind of friends to make! Also, that they don’t care what’s happened, their child can always call them.
Sarah then shares the album she loves to rock out to in her car whenever she needs a good girl-scream. And both ladies add in their personal stories throughout – sprinkled with the humor that you’ve come to know! Lauren opens up about the one quality all of her and her 4 sisters share and they both give some insight into how they grew up and what their mothers instilled in them. They’re both beyond grateful for the women that raised them and continue to mother them today. Overall it’s a fun, uplifting message to help them inspire and love their girls. They both want to build a bond that’s safe, fun and loving.
They then close out with their hits and misses of the week. Sarah shares her hit of finding a new acne product and Lauren’s miss of Gus and how he does during the yard’s irrigation.
