Show Notes

Dec. 13th, 2021 – In this week’s episode, the ladies kick off the show with Sarah sharing that she’s been summoned to jury duty (and how she’s pretty excited about it!).  They then break down how to pluralize their last names which both end in an “s”.  Do you know the proper way??  They then dive into the bulk of the episode talking about how to relate to someone who just thinks a bit differently than you.  They talk about how to check our assumptions, control our emotions and look for better understanding in these situations.  They talk about how the kids are always watching and how they pick up on how we respond to conversation and all.  This episode offers some great reminders about how we can react and deal when uncomfortable conversation comes up on the dinner table.  It really does remind us to step back and look for the good in the person and try to understand that everyone it coming to the table with different life experiences and perspectives.  They close out the episode with the week’s hits and misses – Lauren sharing an upcoming performance with her husband in the Nutcracker and both ladies sharing an update with their dogs!
